What is  an “I heart Chicago!”  Photography session about?


Chicago is an amazing city. So many people fall in love with its energy and variety of cultures, that they speak fondly about it for years to come. Why trust your time with your loved one in Chicago to a cell phone picture? You deserve to be in front of the camera.  Those who  want Professional images while  in Chicago, this is the best of both worlds.  You will be given the digital image file, so you can send it to friends, post on social media or print out in your home town,

 We have the most recognized skyline in the world.  come see why it is called “ The Billion Dollar Backdrop” by photographers.

What to expect
 After we discuss possibilities. If you have a favorite location in Chicago, we can start there. A great way to think about this session is that not every photo will be “ stop and pose” type, but  more like telling a story.  A taxi ride to the park, a walk by the lake, drinks at a cafe., Heading out for the night life..... Now, you get the idea... it will be a mix of posed and reality( lifestyle) shots.
Afterwards,  I will edit, usually a 3 business day turnaround time, upload them online so you can view, share and download them for your own keepsake. Perfect for  displaying  on social media, photo albums, tablets and phones.

What to wear
Chicago Has many cultural influences when it comes to style and dress. We recommend that you wear what is comfortable for you yet still shows your own personal style. Sites like Renttherunway.com are great ways to get that perfect outfit or dress for the photo session. This is always a good moment to error on the side or dressy -vs- very causal, but As always you know your own style best.
Ladies, Heels give that certain look, that so many love. so bring your best! but don’t forget a pair of flats to wear between locations. You can do a lot of walking in Chicago and your feet will thank you later.




Chicago Weather
The Midwest is famous for its ever (quickly) changing temperature range. (weather.com)  We can shoot in most climates, but the cameras tend to not do well in extremes. There is somewhat of an art to dress appropriately for the weather.  Use your best judgment and we will help as much as possible.  The upside to this is less than perfect weather makes for Great photos! 


Can we photograph families?
We sure can!  We base a family session on 2 adults and 2 kids maximum.  If you have a larger family, please contact us.  The get the most of your session, and for your investment, Children of any age with logo clothing is NOT suggested. When in doubt, go with solids. Photos will not look “dated” with subjects in solids.
